Uppercut Sandwich Co. is a new destination at Chicago’s Revival Food Hall for innovative, high-quality versions of classic sandwiches using premium ingredients. Uppercut was developed by the owners of Smoque BBQ and Smoque Steak after they started using premium cuts of beef, chicken, pork, and top-notch seafood available in the restaurants as the base for sandwiches. The response was so positive that the team decided to extend the offerings to the public and launched Uppercut Sandwich Co.
Uppercut is not your garden-variety sandwich shop—slicing deli meat and tossing it on a bun. We are going to lengths most other sandwich shops wouldn’t dream of: carving and smoking our own beef for steak sandwiches and Italian Beef, grinding, seasoning and smoking our own meatloaf, and grinding the beef and processing the spices for our all-beef chili. It’s a lot of work to do things this way, but we think you’ll taste the difference.
